I just picked up my 2010 Honda Crosstour last night from the shop. Prior to bringing it in, I had done some diagnostic on my own by updating spark plugs, coil packs, EGR valve, battery, etc. It came to my attention that my cylinder #2 had zero pressure when I went to check all cylinder heads. Speaking with Chuck's Auto, they understood and were willing to take a look at it. While I'm not a master mechanic, I can diagnose the majority of my problems. Some shops tend to ignore what you are trying to explain, but Chuck's Auto at least listened to what I had done to date. Within a day of drop off, they had called to let me know of my assumed issue was true. We spoke through the quote and within one week, my engine repair was complete. I brought my car to Chuck's regarding a grating noise in the rear wheel well. I had taken the car to two other shops neither of which could identify the problem and neither of which seemed to have much of an interest in digging in deeper to determine the problem. Immediately Vince approached this as a problem solving opportunity, determined to find and fix the issue. His communication with me was outstanding, constantly explaining his actions and status along the way. Ultimately, he did find that the issue was a broken parking brake cable bracket, which he fixed within his quoted price.
