Resumes are good indicators of training and experience, but Chuck has always believed that even more important than those things is the character of those who work for him.

Smart people can be trained, and Chuck makes sure that those who work for him receive all the training and education they need for the job so that they are among the best in the business. That’s a given. But Chuck’s goes beyond that.

Setting a higher standard, from the day he opened his shop, Chuck has selected employees for their character. He hires good people and provides a good work environment for them. As a result, Chuck’s has a well-tuned team that works great together. That’s why there is so little turn over at Chuck’s. Our skilled and talented staff has been with us for years. From friendly Jamie whose cheerful voice answers the telephone to our skilled mechanics and talented tech assistant and tire technician, Chuck’s team is committed to delivering the best customer service possible. Meet the team that customers say is worthy of their praise:

• Chuck
  Manager
  Chuck has more than 55 years of automotive experience. He began at the bottom as a clean-up guy for a neighborhood garage and quickly became a proficient mechanic. After co-owning a shop in Pittsburgh, he launched Chuck’s Complete Auto in Upper St Clair in 1970. Back then, Chuck’s promise was to provide an honest estimate, quality work, good customer service, fair prices, and a good deal. That hasn’t changed.
• Jamie
  Reception and Shuttle Driver
  The welcoming voice on the telephone is friendly and efficient Jamie who makes appointments and writes up work orders. Jamie has been a customer favorite since she came to us in 2015. More than once, customers have said they are disappointed when someone else answers the phone while Jamie is driving a customer home or to work after they’ve dropped off their vehicles.
• Ed
  Tech Assistant and Tire Technician
  No one knows tires like Ed who has been keeping customers rolling since 1995. Ed helps the mechanics when they need an extra hand. He’s also the helpful guy who drives customers to work or home after they drop off their cars and picks them up when their vehicles are ready.
• Doug
  ASE Certified Technician
  Doug, who has been with Chuck’s since 2004, has earned the rank of ASE Certified Master Technician, which means he has passed specific tests and has years of documented hands-on work experience in those particular areas. He’s also a certified PA State Inspection and Emission technician.
• Sean
  ASE Certified Technician
  Sean, like the other mechanics, has put in the time, effort, and work to become an ASE Certified Technician which tells customers that independent outside experts confirm that he knows what he is doing. A Chuck‘s team member since 2015, Sean is also a certified PA State Inspection and Emission technician.
